Situated only a mile outside the pretty village of Headcorn, this cosy cottage occupies a stunning pocket of the Kentish countryside. It s within easy reach of many local attractions such as the Big Cat Sanctuary (0.6 miles), Leeds Castle (8.7 miles), Biddenden Vineyard (6.4 miles) and Sissinghurst Castle (7.6 miles), plus you ll also find plenty of quaint villages and market towns nearby with no shortage of independent cafes, restaurants and antique shops. The village of Headcorn itself boasts a variety of independent shops, local butchers and a traditional pub. For those who like the great outdoors, there are some fantastic walks to nearby villages which can be finished with a stop at the local pub for a spot of refreshment. Although set on the grounds of a working kennels and cattery, you will feel like you have the entire place to yourselves. Just off the open plan area are the three bedrooms: two king size bedrooms and a twin room, and there is also a fully accessible wet room with shower and WC. Bi folding doors in the lounge lead out to a patio area with a patio table and chairs, gas BBQ and a hot tub just perfect for enjoying a glass of fizz and a spot of stargazing on a clear night. The property also sits in its own securely fenced acre of paddock, so dogs can enjoy the freedom to play. By arrangement, the owner can provide private doggy day care should you wish to enjoy a day out without your four legged friends. There is private parking for two cars, and the owner can arrange bicycle storage.
