You will find it hard to leave the peace and tranquillity that this unique location provides, whilst you are surrounded by farmland you can enjoy a walk to the local village inn for a lazy lunch, or for the more adventurous a day trekking the Skirrid where you can enjoy 360 degree views of the area. The Offa s Dyke National Trail is also close by where you can access the Hatterrall Ridge or step back in time to The White Castle. For families you can enjoy the outdoors by bike or horse back with plenty of trekking stables within the area, along with The Big Pit at Blaenavon and a glut of castles to explore. The area is also rich in local produce where you can enjoy the farmers market and annual food festival at Abergavenny, other market towns include; Crickhowell nestled within the Usk Valley and Hay on Wye with an eclectic range of book shops that all celebrate the book festivals throughout the year. (Please check admittance for the various attractions). Enjoy the views across the rolling countryside as you arrive at the farm gates. The barn is well secluded within the grounds. You can access the barn from the main terrace into the kitchen/diner, a spacious room with large picture windows that offer stunning views. The kitchen area will impress the best of chefs well equipped with a full range electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A central island is perfect for you to keep the chef company with a glass of wine. For dining a large table and chairs with low lighting that s perfect for a celebration supper after a day exploring. There is also a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and WC. For relaxing you can get together in the lounge, a spacious room with wood burning stove and TV where you can sink back into the sofas after a busy day. For evening entertainment, a cinema room is set to the side with a projector screen and generous library of films ready for you to take your pick. There is also a double bedroom on the ground floor along with an en suite shower and WC. The first floor offers a spacious twin room with adult sized bunk beds, there is an additional day bed in the room that is suitable only for a small child. There is also a king size room with stunning views. The main bathroom on this floor has a shower over the bath and WC. Outside you can enjoy the rugged landscape of the rolling countryside with 4 acres of enclosed space, there is a terrace that s perfect for summer dining. This area is perfect for families with a children s play area and a shepherd s hut that can be made up for camping by arrangement with the owner. There is also a small orchard with seasonal trees of which you can help yourself. There is also bike storage and ample parking.
