Lakeside 30 is a charming lodge located in Carnforth, Lancashire, within the scenic South Lakeland Leisure Village, which serves as a gateway to the stunning Lake District. This exclusive five-star development features luxurious holiday lodges set around a picturesque lake, surrounded by 43 acres of meticulously maintained grounds. The lodge itself offers open-plan living, combining the kitchen, dining, and living areas, which seamlessly extend onto a spacious decking area equipped with patio chairs, perfect for relaxation. Accommodating up to six guests, Lakeside 30 includes one double room with an en-suite bathroom and two twin rooms, alongside a generously sized main bathroom with a bath and overhead shower.
The South Lakeland Leisure Village is ideally positioned amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the southern Lake District, the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Dales, and the coastline of Morecambe Bay. This location makes it an excellent base for exploring some of the UK’s most picturesque scenery. After a day of adventure, guests can return to the lodge to unwind and take advantage of the park’s exceptional facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, steam room, gym, and beauty treatments. A restaurant and bar with an outdoor terrace also enhance the leisure experience, although the restaurant is currently undergoing refurbishment and will reopen on March 25, 2016.
Access to the leisure complex, which includes the indoor pool and gym, comes with additional charges. Adult rates for the facilities are set at £17 per week or £5 for a day pass, while children's rates are slightly lower. Family passes are also available at a reasonable price. Guests are required to pay a £100 security deposit upon arrival, which is refundable at the end of the stay, provided there is no damage or loss. Proof of identification is necessary, and additional charges apply for highchairs, cots, and pets. Wi-Fi is available for a fee, and all facilities, except the bar and restaurant, are closed on specific holiday dates.
