Tan Rallt, the park hosting the lodge, is pet-friendly and offers a range of high-quality accommodations including both caravans and luxury lodges with private hot tubs. Guests can take advantage of the on-site facilities at “The Retreat,” which includes a fully equipped gym, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and relaxation area. Dining options are available at The Cliffs restaurant and bar, which features locally sourced cuisine under new management for the 2023 season. The restaurant has a fully heated and covered outdoor seating area that allows for a pet-friendly al fresco dining experience, making it accessible year-round.
The lodge serves as an ideal base for exploring North Wales, conveniently located just minutes from the A55 expressway. Guests can venture into the vast countryside, hike in the mountains, discover beautiful waterfalls, or enjoy long walks on sandy beaches, all within a short drive. The park also offers various activities such as yoga classes, bike hire, fishing, and horse riding, catering to a wide range of interests. For those looking to unwind, woodland walks and access to nearby golf courses like Abergele Golf Club and Silver Birch Golf Course are also available.
It is important to note the park's booking restrictions, which include a £250 security deposit for lodges and hot tub accommodations, and a £100 deposit for caravans. Work parties, commercial vehicles, and single-sex parties are not permitted. Due to the park's hillside location, it may not be suitable for guests with disabilities. Guests are advised to follow travel directions provided in their booking confirmation instead of relying on sat nav. Special events such as a cheese and wine evening and a fancy dress disco enhance the experience, ensuring a lively atmosphere during the stay.
