The cottage has easy access in all directions. It has 10 acres of lovely gardens, woodland, and a large paddock. Stapleford Woods with excellent walking and cycling trails is 5 minutes by car and supermarkets and a public swimming pool are 10 minutes drive. Popular destinations such as Rufford Abbey, Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park, Belton Park, and Thoresby Estate are no more than 30 minutes. Newark is renowned for its Castle, River Trent walks, and historic market square. Lincoln Castle and Cathedral are 20 miles away with independent shops dotted along the famous Steep Hill packed with character and charm. Other excellent attractions nearby include Nottingham with its famous castle, medieval Stamford, and Southwell with its cathedral and Georgian prebendary houses. Step into the cottage and wander through to the spacious kitchen/diner which offers everything you need including an electric oven and induction hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine as well as a dining table that overlooks the courtyard garden. There is also a handy downstairs WC and hallway offering space to store coats and boots. The lounge is a cosy place to sit and put your feet up after a day exploring the area with electric fire and Smart TV. There is a third spacious downstairs seating area in the rear dining room and snug. Enjoy a special meal catching up with loved ones, whilst watching the sunrise from the dining room windows and patio doors or in chillier months light the wood burner and relax on the nearby sofa with a good book. Head upstairs where you will find a king size bedroom with a beautiful vaulted ceiling and exposed beams. There is an en suite shower room with WC. The second bedroom offers twin beds and a sofa bed which can accommodate one adult. There is a second en suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Outside there are lots of gardens to explore, with hidden pockets offering seating to enjoy the sun, whatever the time of year. There is an enclosed children s woodland play area with an array of equipment including swings, a slide, and a climbing wall while the adjoining field is great for ball games. There is off road parking for three cars.
