Sea Dog is a charming detached wooden lodge located near Filey in North Yorkshire, accommodating up to four guests in its two well-appointed bedrooms. The lodge features a king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a twin room that shares a Jack-and-Jill shower room. The interior is designed in an open-plan style, combining a kitchen, dining area, and a cozy sitting area complete with a woodburning stove, making it an inviting space for relaxation and socializing. Outside, guests can enjoy off-road parking and a private decking area furnished with a table and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining or unwinding in the fresh air.
The lodge is equipped with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay, including gas central heating, an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, and a dishwasher, among others. Entertainment options are plentiful, with a TV featuring Freeview, a DVD player, and a selection of books and games available. Additionally, the rental includes bed linen and towels, as well as the convenience of a travel cot and highchair for families traveling with young children. One well-behaved dog is welcome, allowing guests to bring their furry friends along for the holiday, although smoking is not permitted on the premises.
Guests at Sea Dog also have access to a range of leisure facilities, including an indoor heated swimming pool, a children's pool, a gym, sauna, and steam room, all included in the rental price. However, it is important to note that from November 4th to December 16th, the leisure center will undergo renovations, limiting access to the pool and sauna, although the gym will remain open. During this time, guests can enjoy complimentary access to the Flower of May campsite swimming pool on weekdays. For those seeking outdoor activities, additional options are available at an extra cost, and families should supervise children around the on-site lakes.
