If you like horse riding, seek out the Lion Royal Pony Trekking Centre (3 miles), or perhaps rent a boat at Llandrindod Wells Boathouse (12 miles). For a day out in the great outdoors, Elan Valley (6 miles) offers an abundance of walking and cycling trails as well as places to go angling.
