Surrounded by the sweeping Howardian Hills, there are incredible views all year round, alongside an assortment of equally wonderful towns and villages. Easingwold boasts an excellent choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes and is perfectly situated for visiting the North York Moors (9 miles). Explore the beautiful east coast or travel into the majestic city centre of York (17 miles) and enjoy some retail therapy, or explore York Minster and the variety of museums. For some memorable days out, visit Flamingo Land Resort (21 miles) or Castle Howard (15 miles) a historic stately home with grounds, fountains, trails and lakes. There are endless places to walk or cycle nearby, including Dalby Forest, also home to Go Ape and the accommodation is set on Route 65 cycle trail. Head to Malton (18 miles), known as the foodie capital of North Yorkshire, boasting popular weekend food festivals.
