The lodge features two comfortable bedrooms—one double and one twin—both equipped with built-in cupboards and electric wall-mounted heaters, ensuring a cozy stay regardless of the season.

The open-plan living area of Dock Tarn Lodge is designed for relaxation and socializing, furnished with inviting sofas and an electric fire to create a warm ambiance. A Smart TV with Netflix access (requiring a personal account) provides entertainment options, while French patio doors lead to a lovely outdoor patio area complete with seating. The adjoining L-shaped kitchen is well-appointed, offering ample storage and a dining table for shared meals, making it a perfect space for families or small groups to gather and enjoy each other's company.

Outside, the garden is securely enclosed with wooden fencing, making it an ideal space for pets to roam freely. The estate is family-friendly and boasts numerous walking trails that lead to scenic destinations such as Loughrigg Fell, Loughrigg Tarn, Elterwater, and Skelwith Bridge, with further adventures awaiting in the Langdale Valley. Additionally, guests can enjoy access to swimming pool facilities, including a sauna and table tennis, available from early March to late October, enhancing the overall experience during their stay.

Access to Dock Tarn Lodge involves navigating five steps from the parking area, with an additional step leading into the property. Free parking is provided for one vehicle adjacent to the lodge, with extra parking available at the top of the estate. However, it is important to note that EV car charging is not permitted on-site. The lodge is conveniently located near cultural attractions such as the Armitt Museum and Gallery and the Wordsworth Museum, as well as local shops like Cocoa Hearts and The Herdy Shop, ensuring a well-rounded experience for visitors to this enchanting part of the North of England.
