Nestled near the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this charming destination features rolling hills, lush pastureland, and dense woodlands. It is an excellent base for outdoor enthusiasts who wish to explore the Forest of Dean and the scenic Wye Valley during the day, while also providing a peaceful environment for relaxation in the evenings. The area is rich in natural beauty, with numerous walking paths that meander through mixed woods and ancient tracks, offering constantly changing stunning views.

One of the notable landmarks nearby is the majestic Goodrich Castle, which stands proudly on a wooded hill. For cycling enthusiasts, the region boasts well-marked cycle paths that lead through the enchanting Forest of Dean, where visitors can discover the wonders of Puzzle Wood and the historical Clearwell Caves. Additionally, the breathtaking vistas from Symonds Yat rock are a must-see. The nearby towns of Ross on Wye, recognized as the birthplace of modern tourism, and Monmouth, the birthplace of Henry V, add to the area's historical significance and charm.

The accommodation itself features a traditional garden gate that opens onto a gravel pathway leading to the front door. Inside, guests are welcomed by an entrance hall complete with a separate WC, space for muddy boots, and coat hanging facilities. To one side, the comfortable lounge offers picturesque views of the countryside through coach house double doors. A few steps down lead to the beautifully restored original milling area of the barn, which now serves as an open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area. The lounge is equipped with classic sofas and a TV/DVD, while the dining area takes center stage, complemented by a contemporary kitchen that includes modern appliances such as an electric oven, hob, fridge with ice compartment, and dishwasher.

Ascending to the first floor, guests will find a vaulted double bedroom with a charming mezzanine overlooking the lounge, enhanced by picture windows that showcase views of the valley. This room includes an en suite shower room and a tucked-away dressing area. A second staircase leads to a cozy twin room with views of the meadow and woods, along with a shared shower room across the landing. Outside, the established grounds span approximately three acres, inviting guests to explore the natural beauty of the meadows surrounding the barn. Outdoor seating is provided for relaxation, and guests may encounter the owner's friendly sheep and chickens roaming the orchard. Ample off-road parking is available for two cars, making this retreat a perfect getaway for nature lovers and families alike.
