There are plenty of things to do nearby including canoeing and fishing on the River Usk, or walking, cycling and climbing in the Begwyns, the Gospel Pass and Offa s Dyke Path. You can also go hang gliding, shooting, rock climbing, abseiling or orienteering, with Llangorse Lake (15 miles) a popular centre for numerous activities. The thriving market town of Hay on Wye (3 miles) has plenty of pubs and restaurants for you to sample, and is famous for its literary festival, its exciting arts scene and its numerous second hand bookshops and antique shops. Other local attractions in the Brecon Beacons National Park include the Pwll y Rach Nature Reserve (10.5 miles), Talgarth Mill (9.5 miles) and Llanthony Priory (15 miles). Reached via a step, this light, fresh and attractive cottage features a charming lounge with comfortable sofas, TV and DVD so you can curl up in the evening and watch a favourite movie. There s a charming dining area and the stylish kitchen, which features exposed beams, is well equipped with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and breakfast bar. Heading up to the first floor there are two bright and relaxing bedrooms with sloping ceilings: a spacious master bedroom with a double bed and TV, and a bunk bedroom with full size single bunks. Going outside, you can enjoy drinks and al fresco meals in the delightful private patio which has outdoor furniture, a BBQ and wonderful country views. The property is one of three neighbouring cottages which can be booked together to accommodate 12 guests. The cottages have shared use of a spacious play barn with table tennis, short tennis, and a selection of ride on toys. The cottages also have access to a large, fenced meadow. Ample off road parking is available.
