A walkers delight, this converted barn has many waymarked footpaths from the doorstep ready for you to explore the surrounding Cheshire countryside by foot or by bike. Head 1.5 miles into nearby Audlem which offers a host of independent shops and eateries, a mill, and a church to explore. A mile outside is the Overwater Marina with mooring for over 200 narrowboats and is reached by foot or, at weekends and Bank Holidays, by Audlem Lass, which cruises the canal from Lock 15 to the marina. There s a cafe there too for refreshment and lunches. A little further afield are the market towns of Chester and Shrewsbury, and the city of Stoke on Trent (all within 27 miles) providing charm and culture with lots to see and do. Step into the barn, kick your shoes off and feel the toasty underfloor heating warming under your feet. The impressive lounge/kitchen/diner wows with high ceilings and exposed beams, and offers a social space to prepare a meal, enjoy dinner and relax on the sofa. The kitchen area offers a range oven and gas hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave, providing a wonderful space to take time cooking a special meal, with a nearby dining table, comfy leather seats and views out to the countryside. Sink into the sofa, pop something on the wall mounted Smart TV and relax, or open the patio doors, let in the country breeze and curl up with a good book. Head to the spacious king size bedroom with a high ceiling, exposed beams and pretty fabrics to complement the rural theme. There is a twin bedroom just along the hall perfect for adults or little ones. The stylish shower room offers an impressive rainfall shower with copper fixtures, pretty mosaic tiles, sink and WC. Outside, the decking is the perfect place to unwind whether with a glass of something chilled overlooking the fields with donkeys and the rare breed sheep, rustling up a meal using the gas BBQ or bubbling the day away in the hot tub. There is a nearby enclosed paddock, which is great for giving the dogs a run, knowing they are safe and secure, and even an outdoor (cold) shower station to keep your dog clean. You will find ample off road parking.
