The lodge park is part of the Wanderwood Lodge Holiday Collection and is nestled within 22 acres of tranquil woodland beside the River Orwell. This idyllic setting combines peace and luxury, providing a unique escape for couples and families seeking relaxation amidst nature. Guests can enjoy breakfast on the outdoor decking, accompanied by the soothing sounds of birdsong and the sight of local wildlife, enhancing the experience of riverside living. The lodge is designed with sophistication and luxurious touches, ensuring a blissful stay for all visitors.
It is important to note that while some lodges offer private hot tubs, availability may be limited, and guests are advised that the hot tub will not be accessible if specified in their booking. A security deposit of £100 is required upon arrival to cover any incidental charges. Additionally, due to ongoing development work, the on-site restaurant and bar are currently closed, and guests are encouraged to utilize the cooking facilities available in their lodges. A planned power cut is scheduled for December 1st, which may affect services during that time.
Guests checking in can do so from 4 PM, with check-out required by 10 AM. To streamline the check-in process, it is recommended to complete the online check-in form within 48 hours of arrival. The lodge park is accessible 24 hours a day, though guests arriving after 7 PM should contact Reception for specific instructions. The surrounding area features local landmarks such as Wolsey's Gate and St Peter's by the Waterfront, along with attractions like Suffolk Leisure Park and Jimmy's Farm, providing ample opportunities for exploration and enjoyment during their stay.
