Guests can enjoy the serene landscape, including the sight of horses grazing nearby, all while disconnecting from the hustle and bustle of daily life, as the hut is intentionally free of Wi-Fi to encourage a focus on the present moment.
The hut is crafted with care, featuring eco-friendly materials such as natural Douglas Fir and sturdy Oak, complemented by lamb’s wool insulation for comfort. The rustic charm is enhanced by exposed Oak roof beams, while modern furnishings add a stylish touch. Couples can cozy up in front of the traditional log burner, preparing romantic meals in the fully equipped kitchen, which includes a quartz countertop and a Belfast sink. Dining options range from a snug table with quirky bench seating to a more casual setup on the sofa, allowing for a variety of dining experiences during their stay.
Monkwood also boasts a private bathroom that features a WC, wash basin with an illuminated mirror, and a luxurious handmade bathtub. The highlight is the William Holland roll-top copper bath, perfect for a relaxing soak after a day of exploration.
