In the prettiest of farm settings you would never guess you were just twenty minutes from the Severn Bridge. Rolling countryside and castles galore, all easily explored from the cosiest of huts. Perfectly nestled between the Wye Valley in one direction and the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park in the other, there's plenty to head out and explore with walks from the door including a stroll down the lane to the local pub. Fantastic fishing nearby on the River Usk, with day permits available in Usk. Kayaking and Canoeing readily available on the River Wye. There are castles littered around the Monmouthshire countryside, Raglan Castle is just a few short miles away, or a day trip around the trio of Whitecastle, Grosmont and Skenfrith Castles. This spacious and light shepherd hut is situated in the grounds of the owners property , which is a working forge. Reach the full length glass doors with a few steps up to the lovely entrance, leading into the kitchen and living area, with its own wood burner (logs included). The Cwtch Hut is full of delightful homely touches such as books, games and tourism leaflets about the local area, and with tea, coffee and milk provided to get you started after your journey. The kitchen/dining area is equipped with small fridge, mini electric oven and hob, kettle, coffee machine, butler sink, radio and Bluetooth speaker. There is a shower room and shower and WC, and a very romantic and cosy double cabin bed, with clever built in storage and shelving. Outside there is a large enclosed garden, fire pit, log store, BBQ, outdoor chairs and hammock with a natural pond along the boundary, perfect for bird watching. There is plenty of space to park, and all bed linen, towels, hairdryer and electric is included. Regret no smoking.
