Golfers will also be delighted with the area boasting a number of fantastic local and links courses, including the championship course at Carnoustie. With an array of mountain ranges, lochs and country tracks to explore. A little further afield is the historic famous town of Kirriemuir. The birthplace of J M Barrie, author of Peter Pan and Bon Scott of the Rock group ACDC. Heading into the lodge, take off your coats and boots and head through to the warm and inviting open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with impressive double vaulted ceiling. Put your feet up on the comfortable sofas and snuggle up with a loved one with your favourite movie on the TV/DVD. Rustle up a hearty breakfast in the kitchen space with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine and enjoy the resulting meal at the nearby dining table. Heading through to the bright and airy bedroom, also with double vaulted ceiling, you will find the king size bed where you will get a peaceful night s rest. The shower room will get you ready for the day s activities ahead and soaking in the hot tub will soothe those achy legs after a day hiking the hills. Outside spend your days soaking in the hot tub and enjoying the surrounding scenery or try dining alfresco. There is ample off road parking.
