Situated in a beautiful location in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this enchanting shepherd s hut offers a peaceful escape from every day. With easy access to several local farm shops and good pubs, this is a great place for exploring 1066 Country. When not exploring the many footpaths that forge the rolling countryside, guests can visit the nearby attractions of Pashley Manor Gardens, King John s Nursery and Bateman s all within 6 miles of the cottage. The historic town of Battle is just 7 miles away and offers boutique shopping and the opportunity to visit the famous Battle Abbey, whilst slightly further afield you can enjoy a trip to the seaside visiting the coastal towns of Bexhill, Hastings, and Rye, all within 17 miles. Inside, the hut has been decorated to evoke a cosy and romantic feel. There is a small kitchen area with a hob, microwave, fridge with icebox and Nespresso coffee machine pop down the road to local farm shop to pick up some fresh produce. A folding table and chairs for dining offers an ideal spot for enjoying a romantic meal or a game of Scrabble in front of the wood burner on chilly evenings, and there is a DAB radio for some background music. The double bed sits at one end of the hut beneath dual aspect windows that offer a panoramic view over the local countryside. Start your day by sipping a morning coffee in bed whilst watching the sheep graze the fields outside. The en suite shower room has a walk in shower and WC with an electric towel rail to ensure that guests have warm fluffy towels each morning. Outside the hut is a peaceful decked area with a table and chairs for enjoying al fresco meals using the charcoal BBQ. As you dine, you will notice the grazing sheep in the fields beyond and be able to watch the sun set over the vineyard a truly unique and memorable experience.
