Located just outside Hay on Wye near the Welsh Borders, this charming cabin is the perfect place for a romantic break for two. Spend slow hours browsing the bookshops that give the town of books its international reputation, as well as the independent boutiques and antique dealers, before enjoying one of the many excellent pubs and restaurants. Alternatively, head south and you will soon find yourself in the Black Mountains or Brecon Beacons, where mountain biking, pony trekking and miles of stunning walks through glorious landscapes await. Simple and stylish, the wooden cabin has an open plan interior that maximises the space. The living area features a dining table and chairs, where you can enjoy a meal or plan your next adventure, or you might prefer to cosy down and enjoy an evening in front of your favourite television show or movie. The fitted kitchen provides everything you need to cater for your stay. A double bed nestles at one end of the cabin, with curtains to separate it from the rest of the living space, and there is a separate shower room and WC. Despite being set 20 metres from the owner s property, the cabin feels very secluded, with a private veranda where you can enjoy evenings outside as the sun goes down on the panoramic views (blankets are provided to take off the chill if temperatures drop). Alternatively, a private patio with chiminea, outdoor furniture and BBQ, give you a place to dine alfresco under the pollution free night skies. Guests are also free to roam the large 1 acre gardens, complete with orchard, or follow the footpath beside the cabin out onto the open hillside for a romantic picnic as the sun sets on another perfect day.
