This cottage lies in a quiet Derbyshire village but with the popular village of Tideswell just a mile and a half away. Tideswell is one of the Peak District's most popular picturesque villages and makes an excellent base for walking, cycling and exploring the area. It also has fantastic amenities to enjoy such as pubs, shops, cafes and independent retailers. The village is also well known for its annual Well Dressing with carnivals, parades and the annual food festival. By car, Mam Tor and Castleton are a few miles away, with the spa town of Buxton and the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire s Chatsworth House both within 12 miles drive. The pretty town of Bakewell, 10 miles, is a must visit as it is home to the famous Bakewell Pudding and is a wonderful town to explore. Step into the barn and let the beautiful space surround you. Take off your coat and shoes and let the cosy underfloor hearting warm your feet.
