This cottage lies in a quiet Derbyshire village but with the popular village of Tideswell just a mile and a half away. Tideswell is one of the Peak District's most popular picturesque villages and makes an excellent base for walking, cycling and exploring the area, with fantastic amenities to enjoy such as pubs, shops, cafes and independent retailers. The village of Tideswell is also known for its annual Well Dressing with carnivals, and parades, as well as a food festival every year. The delightful spa town of Buxton and Chatsworth House are both within a 12 mile drive, while Mam Tor and Castleton are both 8 miles drive. The charming town of Bakewell, 10 miles, is a must visit as it is home to the famous Bakewell Pudding and is a great place to explore. Take four steps up to the front door and wander into the inviting hallway with space to hang your coats and store those muddy welly boots with ease.
