Walkers and cyclists are well catered for with numerous circular routes direct from the village and ever popular Cheddar Gorge just an hour by car. Similarly, the stunning south coast with fabulous beaches at Bournemouth, Swanage, Weymouth, Lyme Regis and Chesil, and world renowned scenery at Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, is about an hour away. Other attractions accessible include the historic spa city of Bath, Wells, the smallest city in England, National Trust Montacute and Stourhead, Longleat Safari Park and Stonehenge.
