Situated within the beautiful Devon countryside, this property is ideally placed for touring the Devon/Cornwall border. Okehampton is 12 miles away and is at the northern foothills of Dartmoor National Park, making this a great location for keen walkers. The coastal town of Bude is less than 20 miles where you can enjoy a day at the sandy beach, stroll along the canal or enjoy a game of golf after browsing the independent shops and cafes. Enjoy visiting one of the many attractions nearby including North Devon Wake Park, RHS Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal and Roadford Lake which can all be found within 20 miles. Venture inside this single storey barn and you come into the open plan lounge/diner with a beautiful high vaulted ceiling, and lots of character features including oak beams and flagstone floors. There is underfloor heating throughout to make sure it is toasty underfoot. Light the wood burner before settling on the comfy sofas and catch up with a box set on the Smart TV. There is a glass dining table and chairs for those cosy mealtimes together. The kitchen is fully fitted and has granite worktops as well as everything you need to whip up a delicious dinner including an electric double oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, and coffee machine. A washing machine and tumble dryer can be found in the shared laundry room a short distance from the barn. The character bedroom has a super king size zip and link bed (which can be made into a twin on request) along with a TV. The bathroom completes the accommodation and offers a roll top bath as well as a separate rain shower, his and hers basins, a heated towel rail, underfloor heating, and a WC. Heading outside, there is an enclosed private patio area with Weber gas BBQ, table and chairs and access to the farm grounds and trail. Private parking for one car and an electric car charging point are available (at an additional cost and by arrangement with the owner).
