The village of Ashton under Hill is situated in the south of Worcestershire, at the eastern end of Bredon Hill and overlooks the Cotswolds, well served with a local village inn and farm store. With a wealth of history on its doorstep, the barn is an ideal base for walkers and cyclists with close by Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. Ideally situated for the National Hunt racing and festivals at Cheltenham, along with the ancient Saxon town of Winchcombe and Kiftsgate Court Garden. For car enthusiasts, the Prescott Speed Hill Climb hold motoring events throughout the year. Other events near the area that are also worth a visit are Europe s biggest Medieval Festival in July and the Blossom Festival in the springtime. Enjoy the views before stepping inside this detached barn. Enter into the kitchen/diner to find the well equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washing machine, making it a great space for preparing a meal. The dining area sits to the rear of the room with a traditional farmhouse table, the perfect place to enjoy an evening meal or lazy breakfast, before a day of exploring. There is a small hallway that offers access to the ground floor shower room with WC. Take the steep wooden stairs up to the first floor where you will find the lounge, a stylish space with exposed beams and floor to ceiling windows frames. The cosy sofa with colourful throw is the perfect spot to relax in front of the wood burner and take in the countryside views or watch your favourite movie on the TV/DVD, from the lounge you can also access the wooden balcony. There are double doors that lead from the lounge straight into the stylish king size bedroom. Stepping outside, enjoy the views across the countryside from the small garden space with table and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining. There is off road parking for one car if you are looking to charge your electric vehicle from the property please advise the owner directly to discuss additional costs for this service.
