Nestled within woodlands and near waterside views, the park is an excellent base for exploring the picturesque Dumfries and Galloway region, as well as the nearby market town of Annan. The park is renowned for its clay pigeon shooting, attracting both seasoned professionals and newcomers, and features well-stocked fly-fishing lakes, creating an idyllic setting for outdoor enthusiasts and those seeking relaxation alike.

For guests looking to engage in activities, the park offers clay pigeon shooting and fly fishing, available daily from 9 am to 5 pm. It is advisable to book these activities in advance to ensure availability. Additionally, the park maintains a peaceful environment, with hot tubs and swim spas restricted after 11 pm to respect fellow visitors. A security deposit of £200 is required upon arrival, held rather than charged, and basic amenities like towels and toilet rolls are provided for convenience.

As part of ongoing improvements, a new visitor center is under construction, which will feature a bar, restaurant, amenity shop, and gun room, expected to open in the summer of 2020. While some facilities may be temporarily suspended to adhere to social distancing guidelines, essential services such as takeaway options and laundry facilities will remain operational.
