The barn’s location in the South Shropshire countryside offers a serene retreat for friends and families to relax and unwind.
The barn features a striking interior that is perfect for social gatherings at any time of year. With its clever division into two halves, the layout promotes both lively celebrations and private moments. The main area welcomes guests with a spacious open-plan entertaining space, complete with a wood burner, comfortable seating, and a large dining table. The stylish kitchen, which has been showcased in Nigella Lawson's Christmas special and Elle Decoration, is equipped with modern appliances including an electric range oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and a breakfast bar, making it an inviting space for culinary endeavors.
Accommodations within the barn are thoughtfully designed to provide comfort and flexibility. The first half of the property boasts four bedrooms, including a ground-floor super king size room that can be converted into a twin upon request. Upstairs, guests will find a master bedroom with an en suite bathroom, another super king size room, and a children's bunk bedroom with an additional single bed. The second half of the barn also features an open-plan lounge/diner/kitchen area with a wood burner and two additional bedrooms, both of which can be configured as twin rooms if desired. Each section of the barn ensures ample space for relaxation and privacy.
Outside, the barn offers a large undercover outdoor kitchen area complete with a fire pit and BBQ, ideal for enjoying the stunning views during warm summer evenings. Additionally, there is an entertainment barn featuring a traditional bar finish, wood burner, and darts board, which has been used by Nigella Lawson. Set within 12 acres of beautiful farmland, guests are encouraged to explore the surrounding landscape, with walking trails accessible right from the doorstep, including the nearby Clee Hill and child-friendly Mortimer Forest, making this barn a perfect getaway for nature lovers and social gatherings alike.
