The space
The "big house" is incredible - a wonderful, thoughtful and sensitive renovation. Country style modern luxury with space, comfort and with stunning, stripped back class. Enter the lodge through the south facing sun-filled porch packed with geraniums and into the high ceiling Georgian rooms of the original family home.
Through the cosy lounge with vintage library and wood burning stove and into the large dining kitchen with long farmhouse table exposed original pine beams and granite walls.
From the entrance hall a grand winding staircase leads you past a beautiful timber lined wet room, a traditional bathroom with claw foot bath and up to the first floor.
Here there are two large king-size double rooms with brass beds, duck down duvets, stripped pitch pine floors and elegant cornicing.
Upstairs again to two sweet Victorian doubles in the eaves, both with additional single beds and great views south to the Cairngorms.
Dell Lodge can connect up internally with both West Dell and Little Dell allowing a total of seventeen guests to share this great, sociable space.
