This spacious house is a short walk from the family s 500 acre working cattle and sheep farm. The town of Okehampton is two miles away and has many shops, pubs and restaurants for guests to visit. Cycle hire is also available in Okehampton with door to door delivery if required. The house is also an ideal place to base oneself while exploring the villages and wild landscapes of Dartmoor. It is possible to take an organised tour of the filming locations on the moor for the recent feature film War Horse . There are nearby places of interest including Two Bridges, Widecombe in the Moor, Lydford Gorge, Castle Drogo and Buckland Abbey. Plymouth, Exeter and Torbay are also no more than an hour s drive away. Inside the house, the large lounge features an open fire (logs included), TV, Freeview and DVD. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave. There is an adjoining dining room with table, dresser, TV and seating.
