Lower Farm, situated near Taddington in Staffordshire, is an inviting five-bedroom farmhouse that accommodates up to nine guests. Nestled on a hillside, the south-facing property offers breathtaking views of the valley and is part of a quaint hamlet called Brushfield, located just 10 minutes from the charming towns of Buxton and Bakewell. The farmhouse is surrounded by natural beauty, with numerous walking trails accessible from the bridleway lane in front of the house, including the renowned Monsal Trail, Cressbrook Dale, High Dale, and the picturesque River Wye.

The outdoor features of Lower Farm enhance its appeal, boasting a small enclosed lawn, a delightful cottage garden, and three stone terraces—two of which are ideal for al fresco dining. Families will appreciate the additional amenities, including a 10-foot netted trampoline for children and front and back crofts often inhabited by friendly sheep and lambs. The layout of the farmhouse is particularly well-suited for two families, as each upstairs double bedroom is accompanied by its own bathroom, while a bunk bedroom is conveniently located on its own landing. However, it is important to note that the dining room accommodates nine, but the living room seating is limited to five or six, with a cushioned window seat available for extra comfort.

For entertainment, Lower Farm provides a TV that only plays DVDs, complemented by a substantial library of films, while also offering a variety of board games stored in the dining room cupboards. Although the farmhouse is capable of hosting nine guests, the ideal occupancy is eight, with an additional nightly fee for the ninth guest.
