Ty'r Efail, also known as Forge House, is a stunningly renovated cottage located in Maenan, Conwy, Wales, accommodating up to eight guests across three spacious bedrooms. Nestled in the serene rolling hills of the Conwy Valley, this charming property is conveniently situated just a few miles from the market town of Llanrwst and the popular village of Betws y Coed. Additionally, it provides easy access to Conwy, Llandudno, and the picturesque beaches of the North coast, making it an ideal base for exploring the region's natural beauty and attractions.
The cottage features a semi-detached design with a generous open-plan living area on the ground floor, which includes a modern kitchen, a comfortable lounge, and a dining space that even accommodates a pool table for entertainment. One of the three bedrooms, equipped with a king-size bed and a large ensuite wet room, is also located on this level. The first floor offers a double bedroom and a spacious twin room, which includes an additional day bed and a full-size slide-under single bed, allowing for a maximum of four occupants. A large family bathroom with a whirlpool bath and separate shower completes the upper level.
Outside, Ty'r Efail boasts a delightful garden featuring a large patio that overlooks a small stream and adjacent open fields. Guests can enjoy the tranquil setting with ample outdoor furniture, including an outdoor dining table and chairs, perfect for al fresco meals. For leisure activities, a full-size table tennis table is available, ensuring fun-filled evenings or summer afternoons in the fresh air. The property is well-equipped with modern amenities such as full central heating, a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, microwave, and internet connection, along with televisions in both the lounge and bedrooms.
Additional conveniences include off-road parking for up to four cars, and the property is designed as a no-smoking environment with a strict no-pets policy. Bed linen and towels are provided, with heating and electricity costs included in the rental tariff. To ensure the property’s upkeep, the owner collects a refundable damage bond of £50 for all bookings.
