It has a variety of unique shops and eateries as well as the Ffestiniog Railway and Welsh Highland Railway, which let you ride a steam train through the breath-taking Snowdonia landscape. With its bars and restaurants, the nearby village of Tremadog, the charming town of Borth-y-Gest, with its cliffs and bays, and the well-known and distinctive Italianate village of Portmeirion, all within easy driving distance.
Located in Porthmadog, this vacation home is by the sea. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Eryri National Park and Yr Wyddfa. Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways and Hufenfa'r Castell are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking and cycling nearby.
