The large enclosed garden offers a fantastic space for outdoor living, making it a wonderful spot for children to play and enjoy the fresh air on warm days. Accommodating up to eight guests, the farmhouse features two beautifully appointed king-size bedroom suites that provide stunning views, along with additional bedrooms that allow for flexible arrangements for families, friends, or walking groups. A short stroll from the property leads to an excellent local pub, renowned for its delicious food and selection of local ales, enhancing the overall experience of the stay.
Guests enter Robin Cottage through a traditional Westmorland porch, which leads to a bright and inviting breakfast kitchen equipped with restored worktops and contemporary appliances, complemented by a farmhouse table for casual dining. A separate dining room features an oak table and an open fire, providing a warm and inviting setting for meals. The lounge area is designed for relaxation, featuring a wood-burning stove, comfortable sofas, and patio doors that open up to the enclosed gardens, allowing for seamless indoor-outdoor living.
On the first floor, the accommodation includes a king-size en suite bedroom, a master double with en suite, and a twin bedroom, all of which overlook the garden and offer glimpses of Lake Windermere. Additionally, there is a further double bedroom and a house bathroom, ensuring ample space for all guests. As a unique touch, visitors are welcome to use the upright piano located in the dining room, adding to the home's charm and providing an opportunity for musical enjoyment during their stay.
