Situated in the popular Lake District town of Windermere, this property has everything you need for a getaway with the family. The vibrant town of Windermere has many great places to enjoy, including cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops. Why not head down to Bowness which is only a short drive away? There, you can head out onto Lake Windermere and take a tour of the lake via the steamboats. Or, if you prefer, hire some kayaks and have your own mini adventures. It's a great base for exploring Ambleside, Bowness, Grizedale Forest, lots of National Trust properties and all the Lake District has to offer. As soon as you enter through the front door, you will feel at home. The lounge has a superb wood burner and a Smart TV surrounded by a corner sofa and an armchair. Head on through to the open plan kitchen/diner which is where you will spend all your days; it has all you need including another wood burner, and a dining table and chairs for your feasts of an evening. The kitchen is equipped with a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, and a dishwasher. In addition, there is a ground floor shower room with a shower and WC. Heading up to the first floor, there are two bedrooms: one king size four poster bed and one bunk room. The main bathroom complements this floor with a shower, bath and WC. Up on the second floor, you ll find a twin bedroom and the master bedroom, which houses a king size bed and an en suite shower room with a shower and WC. Outside is a small seating area behind the kitchen, or you can relax out the front on the bench. There is nearby on street parking or a pay and display car park nearby (subject to availability).
