Burnham Overy Staithe is a thriving little coastal village with a charming creek side harbour, salt marshes and channels out to sea, and is a popular recreational sailing centre. The staithe itself is just a short walk down the lane. The perfect spot for crabbing, playing around in the water or walking along the cockle path to the beach. Set in the heart of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the village is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful coast and countryside, and for visiting some of the many local nature reserves including those at Scolt Head, Titchwell and Blakeney Point. There are many picturesque towns and villages nearby, including Fakenham, Holt, Burnham Market, Holkham and Burnham Thorpe, the birthplace of Nelson. You can also visit the Holkham Estate, Pensthorpe Natural Park, Houghton Hall and Sandringham. King s Lynn and Norwich are within easy driving distance. On entering this lovely property a large and open hallway leads you through to the light and airy lounge. With plenty of comfy seating, TV and a traditional wood burner this is a delightful space to relax in. You will also find a spacious and bright kitchen/diner with a dining area for up to eight guests. The stylishly designed kitchen is fully equipped with a double oven and halogen hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The washing machine can be found in the nearby utility cupboard. You will also find a light and sunny garden room with TV/DVD and garden views through the French doors. Exploring the ground floor further you will find the first of the property s four spacious bedrooms: a double room with king size bed and an en suite wet room with shower and WC. There is also a ground floor WC. The ground floor also benefits from underfloor heating. Going upstairs to the first floor you will find three further bedrooms. There s a king size room with an en suite bathroom complete with a twin ended bath, walk in shower and WC. There s also a double room and a twin room. You will also find a family bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. Stepping outside you will find an enclosed garden with a lawn and views out over the fields. There s patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ, allowing you to sit back and dine al fresco. Venture beyond the garden gate into the huge village playing field with tennis courts, playpark, skate ramp and zip wire there is something for everyone. Off road parking is available for three cars on a gravel driveway. This property is next door to Buffers End which is an identical house and these houses may be booked together to provide accommodation for up to 16 people.
