Children young and old will love rock pooling and paddling followed by a family picnic. Try the water sports or stroll along the beach with Dunstanburgh Castle, set 8 miles south, as your backdrop. Walk to two pubs/restaurants, a cafe/bistro and a village shop, all within a mile. Walk or cycle the coastal path south to Low Newton (4 miles) and treat yourselves to a meal at the seaside restaurant. Play a scenic round of golf and enjoy lunch in Embleton, and head to stunning Craster for tasty seafood, both within 10 miles. Explore Seahouses busy harbour, 2.5 miles north, and book a boat trip to the Farne islands. Head 6 miles to Bamburgh for village shops, a castle and a huge beach, or drive 20 miles to Holy Island. Enter the property through the porch and into the bright and airy open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge has plenty of comfortable seating where you can sit and unwind in front of the cosy open fire after a day in the fresh air sightseeing and exploring this wonderful area. A Smart TV provides evening entertainment with a Sky Box, and there are board games for additional family fun. The lovely dining table has chairs and bench seating, and French doors lead from the dining area to the garden. The kitchen is light and spacious with plenty of worktop space and equipment to satisfy the family chef. Just off the kitchen, there is a cloakroom area where you can store your outdoor clothing and shoes, and there s a shower room with a WC here too. The four beautiful bedrooms are on the first floor. There is a super king size bedroom with a Jack and Jill en suite bathroom, a king size bunk with double size top bed, a twin bedroom with sea views, and a bunk bedroom. All the bedrooms have TVs. The family bathroom comprises a bath with a hand held shower attachment and WC and completes the accommodation. Extend your time out in the fresh air by playing in the enclosed garden with a lawned area and a patio with two wooden picnic bench style tables and a charcoal BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining and drinks.
