Bakewell and the Peak District offer a huge variety of things to do and places to go, whether you prefer visiting attractions such as Chatsworth or Haddon Hall, shopping in the numerous market towns and villages, sampling the delights of local markets or exploring everything the great outdoors has to offer. Bakewell is one of the most popular towns in the Peak District, offering a range of shops, galleries, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The local area is well served for cyclists, as Bakewell lies at the start of the Monsal Trail, one of three car free walking and cycling trails in this part of the Peak District, and don t forget to stop at the famous Chatsworth Farm Shop for supplies. The entrance to the property is accessed via a flight of steep steps leading up to the welcoming front door. Step into the hallway and wander through to the lounge; this is a comfy space to chill on the sofas and watch something on the wall mounted Smart TV, opposite the lounge is The snug which is a perfect place to retire to after a day of exploring; its dark and moody décor with a wood burner at its heart creates a calming space in which to unwind on the comfy seating and Smart TV. The kitchen/diner offers everything you need to rustle up a family meal during your stay; it includes an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Come together around the family dining table and enjoy a celebratory meal with your nearest and dearest. There is a handy boot room that leads to the garden which offers the perfect place to kick off muddy boots and coats; there is also a downstairs WC nearby. Head upstairs to the first floor where you will find three of the bedrooms: a super king size zip and link bed which can be made up as twins on request, a double, and a twin bedroom which is great for children and adults alike. The bathroom with a bath, enclosed shower and WC is also on this floor. Head on up to the second floor and you will find a further super king size zip and link bedroom which can be made up as twins on request and also an additional pull out single bed great for an additional guest or child, with wonderful skylight windows offering great views, and an en suite bathroom with a bath, handheld shower fitting, and WC. The garden is accessed via a flight of steps and offers a raised decking area with comfy seating, providing a great spot to sit and chill in the summer sun.
