Accommodating up to eight guests across four bedrooms, the property is pet-friendly and is ideally located just a short stroll from the beach and the popular Jolly Sailor’s pub. The surrounding area offers a wealth of recreational opportunities, including tennis courts and a café directly across the road, making it an ideal destination for family holidays or memorable weekends with friends.
Upon entering the house, guests are welcomed into a long hallway that leads to a spacious living room on the left and a kitchen/dining area at the back, which opens into the garden. The living room serves as a cozy retreat, furnished with comfortable sofas, armchairs, and a large Smart TV, complemented by a wood burner for those chilly winter nights. The kitchen features a galley style layout equipped with modern appliances, including an electric oven, induction hob, and washing machine, alongside a dining table surrounded by benches and chairs, perfect for family meals or gatherings.
The first floor houses a split-level landing leading to a well-appointed bathroom and two bedrooms: a main bedroom with a bay window offering glimpses of the sea and a twin bedroom overlooking the garden. The main bedroom includes a super king bed and a pull-out bed for younger children, ensuring a comfortable stay for families. The bathroom retains a Victorian charm with a claw foot bath and modern amenities, including a shower cubicle. Ascending to the second floor, guests will find an additional shower room and two more bedrooms, one featuring a double bed and the other a king-size bed with views over the treetops.
Outside, the property boasts a good-sized courtyard-style garden, fully paved and enclosed, equipped with a rattan outdoor dining set for al fresco meals. The location provides easy access to local attractions, including two piers, Victorian seafront gardens, and the Royal Plain Fountains. The nearby blue flag award-winning sandy beach and The Jolly Sailor’s pub, known for its scenic views and diverse menu, add to the appeal. With regular transport links to Norwich and various local activities, such as the First Light Festival celebrating community creativity, this vacation home is a perfect base for exploring the vibrant region of Lowestoft and its surroundings.
