The cottage is set in a quiet and peaceful location ideal for relaxing, walking or enjoying the stunning countryside of the Lake District and the Solway Coast. The nearby maritime town of Maryport offers attractions for all the family, with beautiful walks along the coast and the marina, and attractions including the Aquarium, indoor caving as well as the roman museum. The Solway coast is just a short drive away and Hadrian s Wall and the Scottish Borders are all within travelling distance for a day out. The area should appeal to cyclists and walkers alike, as The Cumbrian Cycle way passes through and is situated on the western end of Hadrian s Wall path. For the keen golfers, the renowned Silloth golf course is less than 4 miles away. Upon stepping into this wonderful cottage, you will feel instantly at home and relaxed. When you enter there is plenty of coat hooks and boot storage to keep all your walking gear. The lounge is the hub of the house and offers guests all they need to kick back and relax with two leather sofas and two armchairs set in front of the original open fire whilst watching a movie on the Smart TV. There is also an oak dining table with eight chairs. Off the lounge is a snug/games room area with table football, sofa and another Smart TV, perfect for the family. As soon as you walk into the kitchen you will see another dining table and chairs plus two armchairs set in front of the cosy wood burner. The kitchen itself has an Range oven and hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is also a utility room that houses the microwave, washer/dryer and shower room with shower and WC. On the first floor there is a king size bedroom with en suite shower room with shower and WC, another king size room which has an en suite shower over bath and WC. Finally, a double and twin room plus bathroom with bath and WC. Outside you will find a patio area with seating to enjoy those beautiful across to the Solway coast. There is also an enclosed garden which is just the spot for your four legged friends to roam and a Charcoal BBQ. There is private parking and a store shed bikes.
