Located in Pennal, Glamorgan, Wales, this charming farmhouse serves as an ideal holiday retreat for nature enthusiasts, walkers, and cyclists. Nestled at the edge of the picturesque Snowdonia National Park, the property provides an excellent base for exploring the stunning Cwm Maethlon, also known as Happy Valley. Visitors can enjoy various local attractions, including the Dyfi Osprey Project and Falconry Experience Wales, both situated just nine miles away, as well as the RSPB Ynis hir Nature Reserve, famous for its diverse birdlife such as lapwings and redshanks. The majestic Cader Idris mountains lie to the north, approximately 13 miles away, while the vibrant market town of Machynlleth and the coastal village of Aberdyfi are just a short drive to the east, offering dining and recreational opportunities like golf, fishing, and water sports.

The farmhouse, beautifully furnished and featuring original exposed beams and stone flooring, accommodates up to eight guests. Upon entering, visitors are welcomed into a spacious and light-filled kitchen/diner equipped with modern amenities, including an electric range oven, dishwasher, and a breakfast table. The nearby utility room houses a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer, as well as ample storage for bikes and outdoor gear. This utility space doubles as a games room, complete with table football and an electronic dartboard, providing entertainment for all ages.

The ground floor also boasts a cozy lounge area with ample seating, a wood burner, TV, and DVD player, creating a perfect environment for relaxation after a day of exploration. A separate dining room allows for elegant meals, while a family bathroom equipped with a shower over the bath and underfloor heating completes this level. Ascending to the upper floor, guests can choose from four tastefully decorated bedrooms: two inviting double rooms, a snug bunk room, and a calming twin room. Additionally, a convenient shower room is available, ensuring comfort for all guests.

Outside, the enclosed garden features outdoor furniture, a chiminea, and a BBQ, making it an ideal spot for alfresco dining. The garden includes a small stream and stone steps, with steep drops leading to the farm track, so supervision of children is advised. Pet owners should keep dogs on a lead due to the presence of sheep, cattle, and wildlife in the surrounding fields. Ample parking is available for three cars, but guests should be aware that the local farmer retains right of way for access to nearby fields.
