Cottage In Ilkley, West Yorkshire

Ilkley, West Yorkshire

8

The cottage is tucked away in the centre of Ilkley, an old spa town brimming with shops, restaurants, and renowned cafes. For anyone wanting to watch a play or a movie, take a short stroll to either end of the street where you will find the cinema or popular Playhouse. Venture up into the moors to discover a carefully landscaped Victorian scene including two semi artificial lakes, ideal for water sports, and the River Wharfe. The ideal base for walkers and cyclists, Ilkley is the starting point of the 84 mile long 'Dales Way' walk, a stunning trail through the Yorkshire Dales National Park. For family days out, visit the priory ruins at nearby Bolton Abbey and take a tide on the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway, or explore the national children's museum, Eureka! As you enter this contemporary property, you are instantly greeted by a stylish open plan lounge/diner. Take a moment to appreciate the carefully considered design and decor, kick off your walking boots and relax in front of the wood burner on one of the comfortable sofas. A large oak dining table provides the ideal place for all the family to gather around and enjoy a homecooked meal to celebrate a special occasion. Move through to the kitchen, well equipped with everything you could need, including an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and even a wine cooler. Sit at the breakfast bar in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee before your day ahead. On the first floor are two generously sized bedrooms; one super king zip and link (which can be made up as twins on request) and one king size. There is also a shower room with a shower and WC. Up a final set of stairs you will find the remaining two bedrooms; one super king size zip and link (which can be made up as twins on request) and one twin, both equally as comfortable and beautiful in design. To complete the accommodation is a bright and spacious bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Heading out to the rear of the property you will find an enclosed courtyard furnished with a table and chairs so you can dine alfresco. Enjoy a BBQ on a summer's evening or relax in the hot tub where you can lay back and unwind. A permit is provided for one car to park roadside on a first come first served basis. There is further chargeable parking nearby and a bike rack for secure bicycle storage in the courtyard. This property has a private water supply.
