A lively creative scene in Hastings boasts plenty to do during your stay. Located in the heart of the popular Old Town, the restaurants, antique shops and cafes of the High Street and George Street are just around the corner. The award winning Hastings Contemporary Gallery and iconic fishing huts, from where you can buy the latest catch, are a five minute stroll. The East Hill funicular railway takes you up to the spectacular views from Hastings Country Park, and a visit to Smugglers Adventure and Hastings Castle gives a flavour of Hastings past. The front door opens into an open plan lounge/kitchen with a large corner sofa, a great place to relax and unwind in front of the Smart TV/DVD and Sky Q (variety package) after a busy day at the beach or sightseeing. The stylish and well equipped kitchen is separated from the lounge by a breakfast bar and stools, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee and offers an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer with ice maker, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave and dishwasher (there is no washing machine but a nearby launderette if required). A door from the kitchen leads into the dining room which has a dining table, wooden bench and four chairs for family meals and Smart TV. Bi fold patio doors open to provide access to the balcony and offer a sense of bringing the outside in. Spiral stairs from the dining room lead down to the lower ground floor where there are two king bedrooms with ethernet access, and a shower room with shower cubicle and WC. There is underfloor heating on both the ground and lower ground floors. A further flight of stairs from the lounge lead up to the first floor where there is a king size bedroom with views over the square, single bedroom with additional single pull out bed and a spacious bathroom with a bath, large separate shower cubicle and WC. You can unload luggage from your car at the end of the path that runs outside the property, and a weekly parking permit for nearby car parks can be bought in advance on line from Hastings Borough Council for 30.
