Grange over Sands is a quiet and picturesque resort on the Cartmel peninsula. Its large and elegant Edwardian buildings were a result of the Furness railway being built in 1887 before that the main route to Grange was across the challenging sands of the bay itself! Grange over sands boasts a good number of independent and boutique gift shops, plus some excellent cafes and pubs for a stop off at the end of the day. With its stunning wide open views across the bay towards Morecambe, this is the perfect place for enjoying a stroll through the parks and along the promenade, taking in the sea air. Many freshwater birds reside in the graceful parks and gardens, and the seafront is home to many species of wading and sea birds. This well equipped first floor apartment is set over three floors and is both light and airy. Starting off the in the entrance hall you can deposit your boots and coats before heading up to the first floor where the property starts. This well presented accommodation comes complete with a delightfully appointed lounge with a cosy wood burner and comfy sofas on which to sit back and relax on a cold winter's evening, whilst watching your favourite film on the Smart TV.
