Coastguards View Overlooking Mevagissey Harbour With Sea Views

Mevagissey, Cornwall

8

Dating back around 150 years the Coastguard Station occupies a commanding position just a few minutes walk from the harbour of this traditional Cornish coastal village which has an active fishing community of 70 fishing vessels.

Coastguards View was originally 2 adjoining terraced cottages which were knocked through into one larger property in the 1960s to accommodate the larger family of one of the coastguards and now, newly renovated in 2019, the cottage is available for holiday rentals for groups of up to 8 people.

Sea views from all the front windows and high speed wireless broadband included for guest use.

Located in St Austell, this cottage is near theme parks and on the waterfront. South West Coast Path Section 31 Trailhead and South West Coast Path Section 32 Trailhead are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Eden Project and Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Mevagissey Aquarium and Lost Gardens of Heligan are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
