Close To The Beach, Ample Parking And With Easy Access To St Ives

Carbis Bay, Cornwall

8

The Bach (pronounced 'Batch' and meaning home by the beach) is noted for its quiet, peaceful location yet is very close to Carbis Bay beach which is easily accessed on foot, meaning that you can be at the beach in minutes without the need to worry about parking as this can be extremely difficult in peak periods (there is a steep hill leading down to the beach and so please contact the host if you would like further advice on this).

The other great advantage of this location is that you can be in St Ives in minutes, with the local carriage train running from Carbis Bay to St Ives in just 3 minutes, and so removing the need to drive to St Ives. This station is roughly midway between the house and the beach. If you enjoy walking, there is a coastal walk a short distance from the house, starting near the Carbis Bay Hotel (the host of the 2021 G7 conference), which also leads to St Ives. There are a number of other coastal walks in the area, too.

The Bach can accommodate up to 8 guests and has been specifically designed with the holidaymaker in mind, allowing a number of combinations of guests, with 2 bedrooms on the first floor, and 2 on the ground floor. The first floor bedrooms have a roll top bath and king size bed, with the other an ensuite shower room and zip and link double bed, whereas the ground floor bedrooms share a bathroom with one having a double bed, and the other 2 singles. Each of the 4 bedrooms has a 24" Smart TV which supports internet services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube, subject to your own, personal account arrangements, with Superfast Broadband provided.

The comfortable lounge has an electric fireplace for colder weather, large settees and an armchair, and a 42" wall-mounted LED TV. There are French doors opening on to a patio to capture the morning sun.

The kitchen has a large 110 AGA induction range cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster and kettle. The dining table at the opposite end of the kitchen, itself adjacent to French doors, opens on to the spacious patio area at the rear of the house, for late morning to early evening sunshine.

The rear of the house is completely private and something of a sun trap, with this patio area having 2 sun loungers, a table and bench seating.

Parking for 4 cars is available at the house, which is accessed at the end of a no through lane.

There is a Tesco Superstore approximately 1 mile from the house, with a restaurant and Becks fish and chips within walking distance.

This vacation home is located in St Ives. St. Ives Theatre and Barbara Hepworth Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include St Ives Museum and Paradise Park and JungleBarn. Ready for a night out? Consider Acorn Theatre and Gwennap Pit.
