The master bedroom features a king-size four-poster bed and a luxurious bathroom complete with a large shower and bath. Additional bedrooms offer versatile sleeping arrangements, including a zip-lock bed that can be configured as a super king or twin, a twin room with river views, and a charming tower bedroom with slanted ceilings. The well-equipped family kitchen and the original vaulted dining room create inviting spaces for communal meals and gatherings, complemented by a Great Hall and a cozy Welcome Hall filled with books and games.
Set within an expansive 80-acre estate, Duchray Castle is surrounded by serene woodlands and offers numerous walking trails along the river and through lush gardens. Guests can enjoy seasonal blooms, including daffodils, bluebells, and vibrant rhododendrons, while foraging for blueberries and mushrooms. The area is also ideal for stargazing due to minimal light pollution. A five-night minimum stay policy encourages guests to fully immerse themselves in the tranquil setting, with many expressing a desire for extended visits after their stay.
