This detached character property is more of a family home than a holiday cottage. It is a very practical house with a wide range of toys, books and games as well as a large garden making it a wonderful place for children and a lovely base for a relaxing holiday. Approached via a private drive, the property is set in several acres of grounds on the edge of the picturesque village of Brenchley between Horsmonden and Matfield in the High Weald of Kent. It is about six miles from Royal Tunbridge Wells and two miles from Paddock Wood with supermarket, local specialist shops and main line train station with frequent trains to London (fifty minutes) and Canterbury, Ashford and Dover with connections for trips to France. Local villages are full of interesting ancient buildings and character pubs whilst Hever, Scotney and Bodiam Castles, Sissinghurst and Pashley Manor Gardens, Bedgebury Pinetum and its 'Go Ape' tree top adventure park are amongst the huge range of places to visit in the area.
