Located in the charming village of Bethesda, just outside Bangor in Gwynedd, this traditional quarryman's cottage offers a unique blend of character and comfort, accommodating up to seven guests. The cottage features an array of historical elements, including a massive Inglenook fireplace with a multi-fuel burner, pitch pine doors, and original roll-top bath, all contributing to its inviting atmosphere. The interior showcases exquisite slate and pine flooring alongside exposed beamed ceilings, creating a warm and rustic ambiance that reflects its heritage.

For adventure enthusiasts, the property is ideally situated just a ten-minute bike ride along a picturesque cycle track to the renowned Zip World, a paradise for adrenaline junkies. Additionally, the cottage boasts a lovely rear patio furnished with garden furniture, leading to a quaint cottage garden that transitions into a small woodland area. This outdoor space connects to the Lon Las Ogwen cycle route, which meanders through the stunning Ogwen Valley, offering breathtaking views of mountains, lakes, and waterfalls. The iconic Snowdon is just a twenty-minute drive away, making it an excellent base for outdoor exploration.

The accommodation is thoughtfully designed with two double bedrooms located on the ground floor and a kingsize crog loft upstairs, which has reduced height and is not suitable for children under the age of seven. A cot is available for use in any of the bedrooms. Additionally, there is a mezzanine area above the lounge that features an extra single bed, though this space is not private. Guests will find that the beds are made up upon arrival, and each visitor is provided with one hand towel and one bath towel, along with kitchen towels for convenience.

The cottage is equipped with modern amenities, including internet access and a Smart TV featuring Netflix, ensuring a comfortable stay. Nearby attractions include cultural highlights such as Plas Newydd House and Gardens and the National Slate Museum, as well as recreational activities at Zip World Penrhyn Quarry and Clwb Golff St. Deiniol Bangor Golf Club. Families can also enjoy visits to GreenWood Forest Park and James Pringle Weavers, making this cottage a perfect retreat for both relaxation and adventure in the heart of Wales.
