Multi generational family groups will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located Brixham converted Sail Loft. The property has all mod cons, large comfortable beds, wide level stairs, 2 ensuite bathrooms, 4 bathrooms in total, with lots of room for everyone to share and still enjoy their own space.
On your doorstep Brixham harbour side, has activities to delight the whole family from country walks, fishing boat trips, a steam train line and even crabbing for the little ones.
The space
The Old Sail Loft, our lovely holiday cottage, is a stone's throw from bustling Middle Street with its artisan shops and delicious bakery. Along Apters Hill 20 metres past Brixham Maid and The Wine Loft on your left you are welcomed by this characterful property.
One step up into the front door you are greeted by a few stairs up to the living level with cloakroom toilet, and into the open plan kitchen, dining area, airy lounge and rear terrace with south facing views over the traditional Brixham coastal skyline.
From here we go up the stairs to the top floor with vaulted ceilings, a single bedroom and the large master bedroom complete with king size bed, substantial built in wardrobes and ensuite bathroom. The highlight of which, is a large apex window with panoramic views.
From here we travel down 2 floors, where we find a twin bedroom, family bathroom and the second master bedroom of the house complete with kingsize bed, and another ensuite shower room. Perfect for two family groups to share and have their own space spread across the property.

Other things to note
Brixham is a traditional fishing village with some steps and winding small roads, The Old Sail Loft has step free access from the harbour.
Internally the Sail Loft is modern with good size even stairs with handrails, however as the bedrooms are on the higher and lower floors it would not be suitable for wheelchair users.
The Old Sail Loft, like most central Brixham properties, has no allocated parking. If you are driving you can park on some of the surrounding streets for free (it can be tricky depending on the season and time of day, these include South Furzeham Road, Prospect Road, Station Hill/ Higher Furzeham Road). Alternatively Torbay Council offer a 30, 8 or 4 day “long stay” parking permit online for just £65/45/25 (Note: this is not normally advertised in the car parks, it is online only and can be purchased just 10 mins before you park). The local long stay car parks are Oxen Cove, Freshwater, & Breakwater and the permit also includes a 3 hour stay in Brixham Central Short Stay car park which is just a stones throw from the Old Sail Loft. This permit can also be used in 30 car parks across Torbay from Paignton (Victoria), to Goodrington Sands to Babbacombe and even in Torquay itself. It's an easy, convenient and hassle free way of parking. (Definitely an insider’s tip) Whilst Brixham Central is classified as a short stay car park you can park there overnight and the max 3 hour stay only applies between 9am and 5pm. If you only move your car once a day before noon, stay away for 3 hours and don't come back before 2pm you will be fine.
