The property is well furnished and equipped in a contemporary style, and within walking distance of the village which has a swimming pool and gym, restaurant, post office, pub and shops. A 15 minute walk takes you to the burrows and beach at Westward Ho! popular with surfers. The historical fishing village of Appledore is only a five minute drive, take the seasonal ferry over the estuary to Instow, watch the boats sail by or partake in one of the water sports or just sit with an ice cream and watch the world go by. Other family attractions nearby include The Big Sheep and The Milky Way. Alternatively, just relax in the garden, fire up the BBQ, challenge the family in the games room or just lie back in the hot tub. Stepping into this delightful property you are greeted by a comfortable lounge with wood burner and Smart TV. Adjacent to the lounge is an attractive split level dining room with quiet reading area. Steps lead up into the well equipped kitchen which has everything you need to cater for your party and entertain in style with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge and freezer, there is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. A useful wet room with WC is also on the ground floor. Heading upstairs via either of the two steep cottage style staircases, care is required, are the four bedrooms which includes one super king size zip and link (which can be made into a twin on request prior to arrival), two king size, one with en suite WC and washbasin and one single bedroom. The spacious bathroom has a freestanding slipper bath with hand held shower attachment and WC. To the the rear of the cottage accessed via the kitchen or lockable gate to the side of the property is the fully enclosed and dog safe garden, with a raised lawn and decking area with private hot tub and shower along with access to a separate games room with table tennis, darts and table football and secure storage for bicycles and gas BBQ. To the front of the cottage you have a pretty raised lawn and patio area as well as allocated off road parking for two medium sized cars. (roadside parking and free car parking is also available nearby)
