With Newton Abbot, Totnes and the beautiful beaches of the English Riviera 7 miles away, this stunning holiday home is the perfect base for exploring South Devon and all it has to offer. The picturesque Torquay Harbour is a short 7 mile car journey away and boasts an array of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Other attractions and places of interest in the local area include the historic naval city of Plymouth, Exeter which is famed for its stunning cathedral and shopping, The Princess Theatre, Paignton Zoo, Dartmoor National Park, Kent s Cavern, Dartmouth Steam Railway, Torre Abbey and numerous National Trust properties. Step into this fabulous property via the utility/boot room which has a washing machine, a great place to wipe off the dog or store your welly boots. Head through to the kitchen where you ll find a wonderful centre island which really is the focal point of the kitchen. There is also a gas AGA, electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, filter water tap, and American style fridge/freezer with an ice maker, as well as a larder fridge it really does have all you would need to feel at home. Outside is a large garden, broken up into two patio areas with garden furniture and BBQ, as well as a summer house and large lawn area. There is also an acre of orchard and wild area for guests to enjoy, plus private parking for four cars.
