Spacious 4 bed charming cornish cottage, walking distance to Porthcothan beach, wonderful garden and living spaces, suitable for families to enjoy the best of the Cornish coast, surrounded by the very best beaches.

Porthcothan Cottage has 4 upstairs bedrooms consisting of:
A Twin bedroom with child friendly decor, overlooking the rear garden and surrounding fields.
A light double bedroom with exposed beams overlooking the front garden, exposed beams, built in cupboard, fireplace and dressing table and double bed.
A large and spacious double room with wooden exposed beams, built in cupboard and double bed and occasional chair, views across the front garden.
A large bedroom with lovely super-king bed, large wardrobe, overlooking the front garden.
Opposite this room is a small room with a cot, overlooking the rear garden. Cot available on request.

Also upstairs is a newly fitted traditional style bathroom with roll top bath, separate shower, vanity unit and toilet, overlooking the rear garden and surrounding fields. On the same floor is another bathroom with shower and vanity unit and a separate wc next door.

Downstairs there is a small but well equipped country style kitchen with dishwasher, 4 ring gas hob, gas ovens, coffee machine and microwave. Next door a utility room contains a large double fridge/freezer with water dispenser, this room leads onto the main utility room with sink, washing machine and tumble dryer along with a separate wc. The main entrance door from here leads to the driveway and so makes this room perfect for coming in from muddy walks or days at the beach.
Leading on from the kitchen is a light breakfast room, perfect for tea in the mornings, sat overlooking the garden, with a door to the large family rear garden.
A large living room with views over both front and rear garden, exposed beams and plenty of seating provides a comfortable room, with tv and electric fireplace and a comfortable reading chair offers a lovely room to relax and unwind.
There is also a dining room with exposed beams, views across the front garden and a large extendable dining table. This room leads on to a spacious and bright family room, used as a den or tv room, with large flat screen smart tv, beanbags and a large selection of board games and toys etc.

Porthcothan Cottage has a large family friendly garden surrounded by fields, with a terrace area, small bbq area (Weber BBQ provided) and a summer house with garden and beach toys. A covered well is also in the garden aswell as an outdoor store room ideal for drying wetsuits.

A gate leads to the front garden and driveway making the rear garden secure for children and pets.
The front garden has a small gate leading to the lane/footpath which takes you down to the beach. There is parking for 3 or 4 cars and a large gate securing the driveway from the road. There is a pond on the outside of garden perimeter. There is a EV Charger available (Tesla) which can be accessed on discussion and separate payment to cover the charging costs.

The Cottage is just a 10 minute walk along the footpath to beautiful Porthcothan Beach or it can be accessed along the road. Porthcothan beach has a large carpark and public toilet. Porthcothan Bay Stores has most items that you will need, wetsuits and surfboards available for hire and the best hot chocolates around!
Padstow is just 4.8miles away where you can catch the ferry to Rock, take boat tours and enjoy this fabulous little town. Newquay is 9.5 miles away with its famous Fistral beach and shopping.

There are so many beautiful beaches and amazing walks on the doorstep or within a short drive such as Bedruthan Steps or the 7 Bays. The coast line is truly wonderful; Watergate Bay, Trevone, Treyarnon with its great rock pool, Constantine and Harlyn to name just a few - the very best of the Cornish coastline is all within easy reach and summers evenings spent on Porthcothan beach are magical.

Located in Padstow, this cottage is near theme parks and by the sea. South West Coast Path Section 15 Trailhead and South West Coast Path Section 16 Trailhead are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Carnewas and Bedruthan Steps.
